Lots to see and do... why not explore?
There's history, heritage and fun at every turn.
Also, see our links page here; including much more information on Lincoln, useful websites and contacts.
Just a few of Lincolns features:
The Red Arrows; famous worldwide for flying out from RAF Scampton, close to Lincoln. They can be seen at the major Lincolnshire event - the Waddington airshow; just one of many air attractions at this annual event.
After moving from RAF Finningley in 1995 the Waddington Airshow has been wowing the public for over 14 years. Read more at www.visitlincolnshire.co.uk
Lincoln's Waterside Shopping Centre; a small but attractive & useful shopping source with many major high street names. This compliments Lincoln's wealth of High Street shops and St. Marks shopping centre five minutes walk further south.
The Bishops palace & Lincoln Cathedral; just a small part of historic Lincoln. As one of the finest Gothic buildings
in Europe, Lincoln Cathedral towers above the city as a prominent landmark visible up to 25 miles away.
With it's awe-inspiring Romanesque West Front the Cathedral has been a place of worship for almost 1000 years and it provides
an area of peace and contemplation for all. Read more at www.lincolncathedral.com.
