The Old Palace - Hotel

Located in the very heart of Lincoln’s historic quarter, The Old Palace combines sumptuous 21st century elegance with the splendour of the Victorian and Georgian era, when the Bishops of Lincoln resided here. Situated right next to the magnificent cathedral, but tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city, the hotel combines its unparalleled setting and stunning views with effortless comfort and distinction – an oasis of sumptuous elegance from an era long gone. All of the 32 bedrooms are tailored to enhance the bespoke nature of the main house and the lodge. A selection of room categories is available to ensure all tastes are generously met.

In each and every one of bedrooms, guests may expect a sublimely comfortable bed to ensure that perfect night’s slumber. Naturally all come with crisp white linen and plumped up pillows as well as TV, free internet connection, hairdryer and hospitality tray. The traditional bedrooms are combined with superbly appointed bathrooms with heavenly toiletries, fluffy towels and rain shower – some rooms also with freestanding bath.

Guests can either stay in one of the 16 bedrooms in the main house or in our new rooms in the Lodge.
